the adult enrichment program of Sarasota County Schools.

• Zumba Gold, $80-for 8 weeks, Shaun Dumas, Instructor, eight week session, Tuesdays, starting 3-10, 5:30--6:30 pm. Zumba dance/fitness fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out and love it! Zumba participants achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, heart-racing,, body-energizing, movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got ZUMBA! Zumba is for all ages and all levels of skill and fitness. It’s just plain fun!

• Beaded Jewelry 2, $89, Colleen White, Instructor, eight sessions, Tuesdays, 4-14 thru 6-2, 6-8 pm. Create original jewelery designs using beads and various types of wire. Classes include making wire links, use of memory wire and “Beadalon” coated stringing wire, headpins, crimping, and basic design skills.

• Beginning Watercolor, $97, Susan Martinolich,Instructor, ten week session, Tuesdays, 4-14 thru 6-2, 6-8 pm. For all who think that watercolor is one of the most difficult mediums, this course is designed to take the fear away. Students learn how to control this luminous art form to create a finished work suitable for matting and framing. Materials list is provided at the first class. Cost of supplies is $100-$125 depending on where the supplies are purchased.

• Singles Social Dance Lessons for Baby Boomers in Paradise, $80, Instructor, eight sessions, Tuesdays, 1-20-3-10, 7:30-8:45 pm, A friendly group of active singles.... retirees, professionals and
those starting over welcome you to join us every Tuesday. The PERFECT group lesson for BEGINNERS, and also those who have the basics and simply enjoy dancing....Instructor, Sue Adams is the BEST! Learn 2 to 4 dances each week, including Swing, Rumba, Fox Trot, Meringue, Electric Slide and More ....requests welcome...so let Sue Adams, instructor, know when you arrive, what dance you would like to learn! Gentlemen.....the ladies would like you to give this a try.... Ladies LOVE men who are open to learning to dance.....it's a great way to meet, and you never know who might be there.

French 1,(8 Sessions)$118
French pronunciation, basic vocabulary (greetings, hotel, breakfast, restaurant, public transportation, directions), and basic grammar rules (arrangement of sentences, gender of nouns and adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, verbs at the present tense) are covered in this class. By the end of this course, students should be able to understand and build a basic French sentence. Text books are required and can be purchased at the ACEC bookstore.

What is your generation... traditionalists, baby boomers, generation x-ers, Generation Y or the millennials? Each generation is influenced by cultural and economic events that shape its values and styles. We will explore the mind-sets of different generations and learn how each group sees the world based on their experiences and values.
Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30. 4-21 to 5-26

The Grace of Abundance,(6 sessions)$63
Learn the principles for being able to enjoy: 1) freedom from fear and worry around money (and the emotional/energetic components of power, safety, and security that relate to money), 2) personal growth that reveals and nourishes your connection to your own inner guidance, and 3) financial abundance to use for your own and others' good.
